Qualifications, Skills and Abilities:
· Ten to fifteen years’ experience in project management and multi-family and/or mixed use retail/office construction

· Bachelor’s degree in construction management or engineering

· Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook

· Proficiency in Timberline and Smartsheet software

· Broad-based understanding of project management with strong planning skills

· Experience in ground-up construction, tenant improvements, scheduling, and supervision of projects and on-site crew

· Ability to work independently

· Strong supervisory, management, and leadership skills

· Excellent personal client and team building skills

· Experience with a project scheduling program preferred

· Construction license a plus

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Oversee, coordinate, and assist construction management on all Sequoia projects from design phase through final project completion
· Assist in contacts for Bids with Estimates to ensure selection of good, qualified subcontractors and material vendors
· Review all bids and take-offs to ensure matching of specification requirements per the design team
· Train and manage all department staff including Construction Manager, Project Managers, Estimators, Superintendents, Foreman, and Construction Administrative Associates
· Formulate and implement long and short range strategic policies and programs within the framework of company policy
· Implement all quality control procedures to be followed and maintained including all safety requirements for all types of construction
· Direct and supervise day to day activities, including, but not limited to development and operational aspects of the department
· Weekly reviews of job cost control and projections within budget; make adjustments and/or changes accordingly
· Responsible for development and follow through of RFP’s, bids, contracts, scope of work, and all documents
